ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP
Membership to Moms In Business (MIB) is subject to the following Terms and Conditions (T&C). By paying for membership you agree to our terms and conditions. MIB reserves the right to update the T&C’s at any time without notice to you.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS & CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP
Membership to MIB is conditional to the acceptance of these T&C. Our T&C are subject to change without notice.
As the group evolves we gain a better understanding of how members will benefit most from their membership. The T&C ensure that we continue to deliver a professional service to our members and attract members who are as committed to creating a supportive and professional community of members.
These T&C are subject to revision without notice. The most current T&C will always be available on our membership website.
APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP
Any business owner and/or entrepreneur who is a mother can apply to MIB for membership. Membership is for mothers but is not limited to mothers and will also be available to women who are not mothers. MIB reserves the right to deny or cancel membership, access to its events or online facilities should the member or their company be deemed unsuitable for membership. No explanation needs to be given.
Membership fees are outlined on our Membership Application Form and on our membership website and are subject to alteration without prior notification. All membership fees are payable in full with the application, however in the event of non acceptance of application they will be refunded immediately (within 5 working days). Membership period is one year from the date of acceptance of membership. (Membership year)
Members pay an annual subscription fee in return for benefits that are accorded to the member. These benefits include a secured position within the group, priority invitations for events, reduced entry to certain events and at the discretion of MIB, free entry into the online directory, access to resources and business training, and other services designed to increase business marketing opportunities for each of its members.
A Member or its representatives acting in a manner not conducive to the goals of MIB can have her membership suspended or rescinded at the discretion of MIB. Activities that can lead to suspension or membership cancellation include inappropriate and unprofessional behavior, spamming members via email, posting of inappropriate content online or aggressive promotion. In such circumstances, no refund of fees will be made.
The MIB Membership fee is charged annually. Renewal membership payments will be notified by invoice. Payment is to be made before the end of the current annual membership date. In such cases where payment is not received before the end of current membership, membership will be suspended pending settlement.
Once renewal has been agreed and made it cannot be cancelled or refunded.
Membership will only start before payment is received at the discretion of MIB and on the understanding that the terms of membership including payment have been understood and accepted by MIB.
MIB requires payment within 30 days of invoice/date specified on the invoice.
MEMBER ATTENDANCE AT MEETINGS AND EXPOS
To get the most out of your MIB membership, you are expected to attend most of your group meetings. Meetings will be once per month in the morning. This section will be revised at a later date to reflect specific details as they become more formalized.
MIB Members who have paid the MIB Member ELITE Membership Fee will take part in 2 MIB community Expos.
CANCELLATION OF MEMBERSHIP
In the event of a member wishing to cancel their membership, notice needs to be given in writing to MIB. No fees are refundable. Members who wish to rejoin MIB must submit a new application and pay the full yearly Membership Fee.
Should MIB make a decision to terminate a member’s membership, no fees are refundable
In order to enjoy the benefit of the services through MIB, each member must have completed their profile on MIB membership site.
All personal and corporate information is only used by MIB for business purposes.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
MIB will provides Members with access to a variety of business resources and tools, marketing and promotional services, communication and social forums, plus exposure to the community through business expositions (collectively know as “Services”). The Services, including any updates, enhancements, new features, and/or the addition of any new information and are subject to the T&C.
MEMBERSHIP DETAILS, PASSWORD AND SECURITY
MIB Membership registration information must be complete and accurate information as prompted by the applicable registration form. You must also choose a password and a user name. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account. Furthermore, you are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify MIB immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. MIB will not be liable for any disruption that you may incur as a result of someone else using your password either with or without your knowledge. You may not use anyone else’s membership details at any time, without the permission of the member.
In no event will any Party or Member be liable to any other Party or Member for any incidental, consequential, indirect, special or exemplary damages, whether under contract, tort, warranty, condition or otherwise, arising in any way in rlation to this or any other related agreement, whether or not such party had advance notice of the possibility of such damages. All Parties and Members assume all responsibilities and not find liable or hold MIB founders, officers or partners harmless for MIB activities or services.
NO UNLAWFUL OR PROHIBITED USE
As a condition of your use of MIB Services, you will not use the Services for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms, conditions, and notices.
